Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 25, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Auroro mobile and web service operated by Fortuna Labs (the "Company"). By signing up, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Definition and Eligibility

The Company operates Auroro, an information tool that organizes Canadian immigration information, automatically calculates immigration scores (CRS, PNP, etc.) based on the information you input, and notifies you of changes to the immigration streams you track.

You must be at least 18 years old to register for the Service. Since Canadian permanent residency applications are open only to those aged 18 or over, the score calculation and stream tracking features of the Service are intended for users aged 18 or over.

2. Account Creation and Authentication

Registration is available only through OAuth authentication with a Google or Apple account. You must register with your own account, and you are responsible for the accuracy and security of your account information. Using, stealing, or transferring another person's account is prohibited.

3. Disclaimer

The Service does not provide legal advice and is not official information or a tool of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

  • The Company has no affiliation with IRCC or any agency of the Canadian government and is not endorsed or approved by IRCC.
  • All scores produced by the Service (CRS, PNP, CLB, etc.) are estimates and may differ from official IRCC results. Actual immigration eligibility is determined solely by IRCC.
  • Canadian immigration policies, laws, and scoring criteria change frequently. The Company makes every effort to reflect information accurately, but delays or errors may occur.
  • The Service does not provide personalized legal or immigration advice for your individual circumstances. Before filing an actual immigration application, we recommend consulting a qualified immigration consultant or lawyer.
  • The Company assumes no responsibility for decisions made or outcomes resulting from your reliance on the Service.

4. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Enter false information or information belonging to others
  • Submit bulk requests via automated tools, scrape the Service, or otherwise overload the system
  • Reverse engineer, extract source code from, or duplicate the Service
  • Commercially resell or redistribute score calculation results without authorization
  • Impersonate other users or the Company
  • Violate applicable laws or public morals

In case of violation, the Company may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice.

5. User Content and License

Profile information you input (age, education, language scores, work experience, etc.) belongs to you. You grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process such information for score calculation, notification delivery, and service improvement purposes. The specific handling of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.

6. Scope of Liability

The Company makes every effort to provide accurate and useful immigration information. However, because the Service is an information tool and does not replace official immigration advice or IRCC determinations, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law the Company is not liable for:

  • Damages caused by temporary service interruption, errors, or delays
  • Outcomes resulting from inaccuracies in information you entered
  • Rejection, delay, or costs of immigration applications based on information or scores from the Service
  • Failures or policy changes of external systems beyond the Company's control (cloud infrastructure, authentication services, etc.)

However, this provision does not apply to the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence, or to breaches of personal information protection — in such cases the Company will assume appropriate responsibility under applicable law.

7. Changes to Terms

If these Terms change, we will notify you through in-app announcements and push notifications 7 days before the effective date (30 days for material changes). Users who do not agree to the changed Terms may terminate use of the Service by withdrawing their account; continued use after the effective date constitutes agreement to the changed Terms.

8. Service Termination

You may request account withdrawal at any time through the in-app "My tab → Account" menu. After withdrawal, your personal information will be deleted within the period specified in the Privacy Policy.

If you violate these Terms or applicable laws, the Company may terminate your account after prior notice (immediately for material violations).

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. However, where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply, those laws shall apply within their scope.
